(Park Forest, IL) – Nationally known business executive and social impact strategist Jotaka Eaddy has endorsed U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly in her campaign for the U.S. Senate.

Eaddy, founder of the “Win with Black Women” initiative, praised Kelly’s record in Washington and her advocacy for Illinois families.

“All of us win when we elect Robin Kelly to the U.S. Senate,” Eaddy said in a statement. “Robin is a proven fighter for Illinois and all Americans … It’s time for Illinoisans to join me in supporting experience and public service in Robin Kelly to win with Black women.”

The endorsement follows the pair’s appearance together at the Black Women’s Expo in Chicago, where they participated in a panel discussion titled Black Women & Girls: What’s Next? Eaddy is known for leading the viral #WinWithBlackWomen movement that rallied support for Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential bid, including a Zoom call that drew 44,000 participants.

Kelly, who currently represents Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District, said she was “incredibly honored” to receive Eaddy’s backing. “Jotaka has done outstanding work for Black women across the country,” Kelly said.

Eaddy’s support adds to a growing list of endorsements for Kelly’s Senate bid, including Brady PAC, members of the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Black Caucus PAC, Elect Democratic Women, Illinois gun violence prevention advocates, and nearly 70 members of the state’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Eaddy noted that her organization, Win with Black Women, does not endorse political candidates as a group.
